创作背景
《Drunk in love》的创作者Detail完成了歌曲的Beat后，起初邀请了Future来演唱，而且Future也参与创作了一些旋律，但是后来Detail让碧昂丝录制了这首歌，Future并不知情，所以他用这首歌的旋律为他的第二张专辑《Honest》创作了另一首歌《Good Morning》。最后，当碧昂丝无任何宣传的前提下，发行了《BEYONCÉ》时，Future本人很惊讶。

2014年12月14日，匈牙利女歌手Mitsou向曼哈顿最高法院递上诉《Drunk in Love》，称《Drunk In Love》中使用了她的人声，但她并未授权自己的音乐给碧昂丝，于是她要求停止该歌曲的发布，并向碧昂丝索赔，但是法院、两位演唱者及提姆巴兰都未对此作出回应。
